  1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

    This Privacy Policy describes the personal data collected or generated (processed) when you use our website http://www.boghossianjewels.com and any associated mobile or digital applications (hereinafter together "Platforms") that refer to this Privacy Policy. It also explains how your personal data is used, shared, what choices you have relating to your personal data and how you can contact us.

  2. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

    2.1 Boghossian SA has its registered offices at Place des Bergues, 1201 Genève, Switzerland, contact@boghossianjewels.com, and is registered as a stock corporation in the commercial register of the Canton de Genève (CHE-103.175.889; hereinafter "Boghossian", "we", "us" and "our").

    2.2 Boghossian is the operator of the Platforms that refer to this Privacy Policy and the responsible party for the processing of your personal data when using our Platforms.

  3. What personal data do we process?

    3.1 We ask you for certain personal data to provide you with the products or services you re-quest. For example, when you make purchases, contact our customer services, request to receive communications, create a customer account or use our Platforms.

    3.2 While you use our Platforms, we process the following personal data of you:
    (a) contact details, including name, email, telephone number, shipping and billing address;
    (b) communication data, including your IP address, the operating system you use, your browser ID and browser activity, and other information about how you have interacted with our Platforms or other third party websites;

    3.3 We use social media plug-ins on our Platforms. If you contact us directly via our social media profiles or use the social network features integrated into our Platforms and you are a member of that social network, the social network operator may provide us with your personal data, including public profile information stored with the respective social network (e.g. name, profile picture), information on the type of device you use, and the account ID of your profile with the respective network (e.g. Facebook ID).   4.  How do we use your personal data?

    4.1 We only process your personal data to the extent that this is necessary for the provision of functioning Platforms and for the fulfilment and processing of contracts.

    4.2 In connection with the fulfillment and processing of the contract, we process your personal data in particular (i) to enable you to select and order the selected products and services, as well as to enable payment and delivery or execution, and (ii) to inform you, among other things, about the progress of the order or to contact you in the event of any queries.

    4.3 Within the scope of registering for a customer account, we use your personal data to ensure the fulfilment and processing of the contract and to enable the provision and implementation of further services requested by you. Your customer account is not publicly accessible and cannot be indexed by search engines. 4.4 If you register for a newsletter, we use your email address exclusively for our own advertising purposes.

  5. Do we disclose your personal data to third parties abroad?

    5.1 We may transfer your personal data for all purposes described in this Privacy Policy to third parties in other countries, including countries outside Switzerland or the European Un-ion, which may not have data protection laws or laws comparable to those in Switzerland, which we commission to maintain our Platforms and our services and products we offer. By using our Platforms and make use of our services and products you agree to such a transfer.

    5.2 The transfer of your personal data to third parties in Switzerland or abroad is only conduct-ed based on adequate contractual data processing agreements that comply with the applicable legal requirements and guarantee adequate protection of your personal data at all times.

  6. For how long is your personal data stored?

    6.1 Your personal information will be retained for as long as it is necessary to carry out the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy (unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law).

    6.2 In general, this means that we will keep your personal data for as long as you keep your customer account, if any. For personal data related to product purchases, we retain this longer to comply with legal obligations (such as tax laws and for warranty purposes).

    6.3 We will use your email address for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The unsubscription is possible at any time. The link to unsubscribe can be found at the end of each newsletter.

    6.4 If you have created a customer account, this account and the personal data stored in it will retained until deactivated, in any case, however, at the latest 3 years after the last use of the customer account.
